Asplenium dimorphum 'Parvati' 6/tray
4ASPABP12
Origin
The Syngonium 'Arrow' is a houseplant that originally comes from Central and South America. In these subtropical, tropical areas, the plant thrives in forests and rainforests, often climbing trees and rocks. In the wild, the plant can grow up to four metres tall.
Characteristics
Syngonium 'Arrow' is popularly known as the 'Arrowhead vine', due to the distinctive shape of its leaves. These leaves are glossy and can range from light green to a dark, almost black shade. At first, the leaves are heart-shaped, but as the plant gets older, they take on more of an arrowhead shape. In the summer, the plant can produce small, inconspicuous inflorescences.
Care
For optimal growth, the Syngonium 'Arrow' needs a spot with plenty of indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves. As for water demand, the plant prefers evenly moist soil, but it can also tolerate the soil drying out in between. However, too much water can lead to root rot. In terms of temperature, the plant cannot tolerate frost and prefers temperatures between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius. The Syngonium 'Arrow' is a climbing plant and will benefit from a moss pole or other climbing support.
