Moss is super trendy right now! With this low-maintenance and natural product, you can create (or have created) the most beautiful acoustic designs. Think of moss paintings, 3D letters, or entire green walls. The possibilities are endless and we are here to help you get started. Therefore, in this article, you will read all about the various types of moss in our assortment.

Which types of moss do you choose?

Below, we list all the types of moss in our assortment for you, so you have a clear overview of the various possibilities.

1. Reindeer Moss

Reindeer moss is a shrubby moss with many small branches. The moss is naturally green-grey in colour, but by adding natural pigments, the moss is available in different colours. The moss may contain small pine needles and twigs. This creates an extra natural effect.

2. Ball Moss

Ball moss is a leaf moss with a great diversity in shape and height. This creates a fresh hilly landscape for extra dynamics and depth in the moss wall. The moss is treated with a preserving fluid so that it stays soft and retains its beautiful green colour.

3. Flat Moss

Flat moss, as the name suggests, is quite flat and has little relief. The moss is a good choice if not too much depth is desired in the moss wall. The moss is prepared in the same way as ball moss to maintain its natural colour and structure.

4. Starmoss

Starmoss is an airy and graphic-looking moss. This moss consists of relatively long stems with pointed leaves, making it look like little stars. Starmoss is very suitable for adding more depth to your moss creation and combines well with other types of moss.

5. Moodmoss

Moodmoss has the shape of a small ball and is thus related to ball moss, but it has a hairy texture reminiscent of Hairmoss. It has a soft structure, making it perfect for adding volume to a moss wall.

6. Hairmoss

Hairmoss is one of the most striking and tallest mosses. This thick moss with a hairy structure is perfect for creating a surface with interesting contrasts and volume.

7. Rockmoss

Rockmoss grows in a moist environment on rocky substrates. Because it grows on a hard surface, it is very thin and contains no soil. The structure of this moss type is similar to that of Flat Moss and can therefore be used as an alternative.

8. Longmoss

Longmoss is a very thick moss type with long, generous strands. Like flat moss, it is a very thick moss type. These two types are very similar to each other. The long strands make Longmoss look slightly airier than flat moss.
