DescriptionSpecifications

Origin
The Coffea arabica 6/tray, often known as Arabic coffee, is a type of coffee plant that originates from southwest Ethiopia. It belongs to the Coffea species in the Rubiaceae family. Arabica coffee plants are now grown worldwide in areas with an altitude between 800 and 2,200 metres above sea level, particularly in Latin America, East Africa and Asia.

Characteristics
Coffea arabica 6/tray is an evergreen shrub that grows up to 4-5 metres in height. It has oval, glossy leaves and produces white, fragrant flowers. The plant has a complex root system with a main root and a number of lateral roots. The fruits, or beans, are oval in shape, about 1 cm wide, and change from green to yellow, and eventually to red or purple as they ripen.

Care
Coffea arabica 6/tray requires bright, indirect light and a constant temperature between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius to grow. The soil must be well-drained and the plant needs regular watering, although overwatering should be avoided. Weekly feeding with a balanced houseplant fertiliser is beneficial for healthy growth. The plant needs to be protected from direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
