Origin
The Peperomia obtusifolia 'Obtipan Bicolor', often referred to as the Struikpeper, originated in the tropical rainforests of South America. Here, this particular species thrives in the shady undergrowth of the forest. Over time, the plant has adapted to conditions of high humidity and low sunlight – both elements characteristic of its natural habitat.
